The brief
The brief
A welcoming space that invites all to get involved in more than just Padel. The space requires a large cafe/bar area which serves multiple purposes, such as check-in, cashier for pro shop and drink service. The design needs to be aesthetically pleasing and cool.
In terms of practicality, storage and cafe/bar facilities need to be considered alongside an array of seating styles.

Our approach
Adopting a contemporary approach we are able to create a clean inviting space that serves its practicality at its core. We utilised textures and hard surfaces for durability and soften them with plush accents to enhance warmth throughout. The bar area is to be packed full of storage and complete with built in sink and beer taps. Slats and planting with come together to complete each design element and continue to soften the space as a whole.

The result
The team at Evolution alongside 3S Services transformed this space in just 5 weeks. What was once an empty warehouse has now become the hub of padel within Northampton.
